HI!  I just started this Blog about my Siberian Cats. Croshka Siberians has been breeding since 1994.  Siberians are a large breed of Cats from Russia.  They arrived into the States in 1990. Croshka Siberians have placed many kittens into  homes and bringing great joy to their families.  Many of the people getting these kitten have been alleregic to Cats and have never been able to have a pet cat.  Siberians have made this  possible for people with cat allergies to own and love,  and be loved by their cat. Siberians are hypo-allergenic, non-allergenic to most people.  Please write about your Siberian cat experience and let other people see why this was your answer.

Not only has our new kitten caused no allergy problems, but she has brought tremendous joy to our whole family. Her personality is "classic Siberian" - she is so friendly to our two young children, and follows me around just like our Chocolate Laborador dog. So many evenings I look in to see my 2 year-old little girl with her kitten on her lap, and a smile of joy on her face. She greets all visitors enthusiasticly, and will be in their laps or playing with them within minutes. I have been a cat owner most of my life, but have never known a cat as friendly and fun as this one! What a miracle she is! Thank you Croshka!

We have also received a bundle of joy from Croshka. Our Abbey Lou is eleven months old and what a great kitten. She follows us everywhere and is very friendly to all that come and visit. Her personality is playful and very loving. I used to take allergy medicine as we had an American shorthair but with Abbey Lou, I no longer need it. One couldn't go wrong with a kitten from Croshka ! Thanks bunches - Kathy

I was always highly allergic to cats. When I heard about the Russian Siberian I was cautiously hopeful.
My cat Maxi is almost one year old and she is
all that I hoped for. Lovable, friendly,
beautiful, fun and most important - she does not
make me sneeze at all.
I felt secure in purchasing Russian Siberians for my two adult children who also have cat allergies. They are as thrilled as I am about this amazing breed.
Thank you Kathy Wade for bringing these cats into our lives.

Our kittens almost 9 months old now and Zorrie and Ginnie have brought so much fun into our house! Neither my husband nor I have cat allergies, but many of our friends who visit do. So far, everyone has absolutely no reactions! The cats both have such wonderful personalities however both are very unique. We love them! They have been a great addition to our family and they are everything we were looking for! Thank you Croshka and Kathy!

Hello,
I am from Russia, and I lived in the US. I have not seen many of the Siberian breed there.
I had a Siberian cat which was the most awesome creature in the world: affectionate, polite and as smart as a pet can be. I ran across your site as I still miss it. It is the most beautiful breed, believe me. You get a friend for your whole life !

Fellow Feline Fans,
I have four children who are all prone to allergies and two are severely asthmatic, as am I. We have NEVER been able to tolerate cats prior to encountering the Siberian Breed. Our resident Siberian is two and a half and he has been the joy of our lives - which is why we are pleased to be adding a Croshka kitten to our home within the next few weeks! I will say this much - from a mother whose children have spent lengthy hospital stays suffering with allergy-triggered asthma - I never would have believed we'd be able to own a cat of any kind. These animals are not only superior companions and exquisite creatures - they are an excellent option for families who desire the blessing of a pet! Even the most allergic people can enjoy a Siberian!

Our Siberian, Ben will be 2 in August. He is a great pet, funny and smart, loves people. Our neighbors tell us that he cries when we leave for about 5-10 minutes, they say it sounds like he is calling for us. Do you think this is OK? Any ideas?

Hey! That's my Trotski!! (picture posted above). He's laying right here next to me now. He came to live with me 3 1/2 years ago from Croshka. He's such a sweetie! I adopted a little girl Siberian soon after (Nadya). She's a riot! She loves an audience. They're so much fun together. Note to Ben's human (previous post)...I recommend adopting two (or more). Ben will be happier and healthier if he has a pal, and won't miss you so much when you're away. Trotski really came out of his shell and became much livelier when Nadya came to live with us. They're pals, and two really are twice the fun!!!

We have two wonderful Croshka Siberians and are thrilled. We bought Sasha as a kitten. When her father Kremlin was retired, we purchased him at the age of 3. When my son was 5 he was hospitalized from asthma. After testing we found out he was allergic to the cats that we had at the time and had to find homes for our four beloved pets. We were extemely upset and missed them dearly. When we found out about the Russian Siberian we were skeptical. Could we really have cats again? He has not had any reaction at all to Sasha and Kremlin. Most of the time Sasha sleeps in his bed even, and he is fine. Besides not causing allergies, they are a great addition to the family. They greet us at the door and follow us around like dogs. They are extremely intelligent, playful and lovable. I was a little concerned about how friendly Kremlin would be since he was used for breeding, but my concerns were unfounded. He is a big lush! I would highly recommend the Croshka's Siberians to anyone with or without allergies. Of all the cats I have had, they are the friendliest most lovable cats with lots of personality. Thank you Croshka and Kathy!

Hello,

I really enjoyed your site. I think you have the most pictures of differant colored Siberians that I have found. I live in Germany and my husband and I just adopted our first Siberian kitten from Russia. We will get to bring her home in about six weeks. I am so excited about this breed,we have wanted a kitten for the last 13 years,my son is allergic. We did a test and He is doing Great!
We will be returning to the US in 2009.

i had always been very allergic to cats, but i had recently had an old cat live with me for several months. i grew to love her enormously. when i moved to a different city, i wanted another cat. i googled "hypoallergenic cat" and learned of siberians.

after talking to a number of breeders, i found one who had a boy and girl available. she brought the kittens to me and they were wonderful. unfortunately, after two weeks i was in the emergency room with a bronchial reaction. happily, after 3 years of allergy shots every other week (i probably should have been taking them anyway), the kids are still with me, as is their cousin who joined us a year later. they are wonderful cats who are worth having even if you are allergic! i would never give them up!

i have been allergic to cats (as well as most other furred animals) since we got two when i was about 7. i couldnt handle them... so we gave one away and kept one, though i could not be around her long and suffered from it! i have since begun taking daily allergy medication, which definately helps. i also googled "hypoallerginic cat" and found siberians. we got one from croshka and i love her to death. tho it is not perfect (i get sick if i have been away a while and come home to her), i definately can notice a difference between her and my friends non-siberian cats. i would definately suggest trying out one of them. Ana has such a personality. she is very vocal and playful (even at 3 years old) and she really does act like a dog in many manners!

My two girls from Croshka will be 6 in April. They are extremely affectionate, playful and smart. I marvel at them everyday. I have cat allergies, and definitely suffer less with my Siberians. Each has a different coat. The one with the coarser coat gives me no problems. The one with the smoother coat triggers some symptoms a little, but not nearly as much as my previous domestics. I just hope Kathy continues to breed these adorable cats. I will always want her Siberians to keep me company. They are the best!

I purchased Taysha, a retired breeder from
Croshka in 2005. She is funny, charming and
alot of fun. She is quite the diplomat with
other cats, and her good personality adds to
keeping harmony in the house. No allergy problems here. The main difference I see in
my Siberian and other cats I have had is the
special personality and friendly nature.
Siberians make special friends and pets.

In August of 2007 I bought a Siberian for my three grandchildren in Florida.
Sergei Demetri has no idea he is a cat and is greatly loved and appreciated by his whole family. He has even come with them twice by car from Florida to Kentucky and enjoys watching traffic out the back window of the van.
He recently caught his first mouse! So, he is earning his keep!
The family had a birthday party for his first birthday in May.
No pet could ever replace Sergei!!
