| The Siberian has it all!! They arrived from Russia in 1990. Siberian cats and Siberian kittens are Hypo-allergenic to most and cherish the role of a lap cat, family pet, are known to have a dog like personality, grow to be a medium-large cat, and they are a semi-longedhaired breed. These rare Russian hailed cats are native to the Taiga, the largest forest remaining on earth and a place of extremes. During the summer, temperatures can top 100 degrees and in the winter they can hit 80 below. This developed this natural breed that is well-developed muscular, and has long easy to groom coat. In the winter, their triple-layer, water-repellent fur is full and dense, but will have a quick shed in the summer. Most of these cats shed very little thru out the year. Living in these harsh conditions has produced a very healthy strong cat that has very little known health problems. The Siberian being a natural breed comes in a rainbow of all cat colors!! Croshka Siberians is a cat breeder of many of the rare russian colors. We have Soilds (black, white & blue), Colorpoints both lynx pointed and pointed (seal, blue, tortie and red), Tabbies with and without white ( red, brown, torbies) Dilutes (blue, creame, torties), Black & white and blue and white, Smoke ( blue, black), Silvers (red,& silver color). Our tabbies can have the mackerel or classic markings. We have a diverse bloodline from all over the World including Russia and Finland and here in the U.S.. We have some of our kittens as breeders and pets in Canada, Peru, & Finland!!! The Siberian will meet their owners at the door at the end of a day and greet most all strangers. They have even been known to be a watch cat! |
